Jane Villanueva writes several books in the course of this series. The first, Snow Falling, is about her love affair with Michael, but transferred to Prohibition era Miami. And I am going to be really picky and ask what exactly falling snow has to do with Miami? When was the last snowfall in Florida? I asked the internet and apparently it sleeted in January 1977. Which was the only (recorded) time in the last 300 years!

You can actually buy ‘this’ book IRL (with the most atrocious Mills & Boon style cover and advertised as written by Jane Gloriana Villanueva. And my goodness! I was at school with a girl called Gloriana.

Anyway, Jane’s second book seems to be more autobiographical, possibly called Jane the Virgin, but don’t take that as gospel, and subsequently adapted into a telenovela, who knows, possibly called Jane the Virgin. Which we are all watching in a TV show.

Well, that’s not at all complicated is it?
