Oh goodness me! What now? Well, Christopher Plover has written a very successful series of books. At least I think he has. They feature five children of the Chatwin family, who discover a magical land called Fillory while on holiday with their eccentric uncle and aunt. 

The group of five novels set in the 1930s are called Fillory and Further. They are about the adventures of the Chatwin family who came to stay with their aunt Maude. When they visited Christopher Plover for tea, the children tell him about a magical world they have discovered while exploring their aunt’s house. Over the years Plover keeps notes and eventually writes a manuscript which he submits to a publisher as The World in the Walls.

The five books in the series, are called The World in the Walls, The Girl Who Told Time, The Flying Forest, The Secret Sea and The Wandering Dune.

Lots of places to look online, although it’s not always clear what the story is, and then after all this…(see above), we get this! As if we didn’t have enough plot already. Or did we…? Well, erm, if you didn’t read this I think you should have because it’s utterly bonkers. Just when you think you have enough plot and to spare… there’s more. Good luck!
