I accidentally fell down an online rabbit hole and came across this interesting post. You might find it interesting too if you are a Jane Austen aficionado. I would have liked to show the cartoon in its entirety but I couldn’t access all the images. This is the best I can do.
Anyway, here we have several fictitious books that Jane Austen might have written, or perhaps an Austen fan: Darcy is a Vampire. I wonder if that’s a companion volume to Mr Darcy’s Blood-lust? We also have Emma and Mummies (not a particularly good title if you ask me, but the thought of the managing Miss Wodehouse coping with a plague of mummies is intriguing), Sense and Sasquatch, Ghosts of Northanger Abbey, Aliens at Mansfield Park and Persuasion of the Living Dead.
I read that Pride and Prejudice and Zombies; Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters; Jane Bites Back; The Immortal Jane Austen; Mr Darcy, Vampire and Mr Darcy’s Hunger are all actual printed books. Are they indeed? I don’t get out enough, do I?
Mustn’t forget Pride and Prejudice and Monster Trucks. It’s a big book.
