Right at the end of The Woman Who Died a Lot, page 381 in my 2013 paperback, we are told that “Thursday Next returns in TN8: Dark Reading Matter”.

Sounds like a Hollywood blockbuster doesn’t it? We know no more than the title.

Well, The Woman Who Died a Lot was published in 2012, and I’m writing this in 2023, so I am classing Dark Reading Matter as a fictional book.

I’m not sure if Thursday has the energy for further adventures but I’m sorry to say goodbye to her.
