Wonders Made by Man is a book about man made wonders of the world in the Game of Thrones universe (could it be called the Throniverse? Of course it could).
The wonders include the Wall; the Valyrian Roads; the Titan of Braavos; the triple walls of Qarth; the three bells of Norvoth (Noom, Narrah and Nyel); the Long Bridge of Volantis, the longest bridge in the world; the Palace with a Thousand Rooms in Sarnath; and the Great Pyramid of Ghis. Although different websites list slightly different wonders. Here’s a blog post by someone who knows a lot more about this than I do.
In addition to Wonders Made by Man, these books also feature in A Storm of Swords: History of the Rhoynish War by Beldecar, Conquest of Dorne by King Daeron (do kings usually have the time to write books? Perhaps King Daeron got up early every day) and Lives of Four Kings by Grand Master Kaeth.
Apparently Lomas Longstrider has also written a book called Wonders about wonders of the natural world.
A Storm of Swords is the third in the Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones) series.
More internet research, because as you know I couldn’t read these books. I really did try you know. So if I get things wrong you need to tell me please.
